Great and worth the upgrade!
I traded in my 3DS for the 3DS XL. I got a 70$ trade in value for my 3DS and so far, games look a lot better on the bigger screen, I also love the new position of the stylus, and how It fits In your hands perfectly. Overall the 3DS XL has a much better build and Is worth the money.

recommended device
i really would recommend this device to someone who likes a 3ds but bigger and with a matte finish. if u have a 3ds and now want something bigger i would definetly trade it for the XL. :)

Same Thing But A Few Tweaks
Nintendo always seems to release a bigger system of something they already have this is the case right here but there are a few things different so I will give them that. So first I will start with the good: so first there is the 90% bigger screen it is the obivious change, Second there is a difference in the 3D switch and the volume switch before they felt like they might pop off that is not the case now they feel smooth and the 3D switch now when it is off the bottom will click because before it could just turn on come how, third the start, home and select buttons used to be under this piece of plastic not they have their own button and fourth the D-pad feels more clicky like it should feel. All in all if u don't have a 3DS and want to get one go in this direction but it if you already have one just wait till something better comes.

Just what I was waiting for!
Was looking for a reason to pick up a 3DS and here it is :)
Plenty of improvements made to this model over the original 3DS, most importantly for me (besides the bigger screens) is the ability to play regular DS games at 1:1 ratio.
If anyone has played a DS game on the original 3DS they know what I'm talking about, you either have a stretched out version of the game or it's small to play at regular size, and the XL will fix that problem.
Cant Wait!
