Kid Icarus: Uprising
Amazing graphics, music, and multiplayer.
I loved this game. It had gorgeous graphics, epic music, and intense multiplayer. The single player campaign has lots of replay value, thanks to the fiend's cauldron. The multiplayer is also fantastic, although I do have some complaints. One is overpowered opponents. The other is team mates who don't move at all. When your team mate doesn't move and he becomes the angel, then you've pretty much lost the match. It's even worse when they are holding a powerful weapon. Also when your opponent has overpowered weapons, multiplayer doesn't become as fun since you're running away from the player. I also hate jerks who quit their match just because they're losing. Other than that this game is fantastic.
Kid Icarus: Uprising Review
My review on, ''Kid Icarus: Uprising'' is going to be what you expected. Don't be surprised I got this game yesterday, finally, and I played it for 3 hours straight, obviously, looking for pluses and minuses. Which there were. Pluses - the graphics in the game, are like no other before. Pit, Lady Palutena, even the backgrounds in the game look superb. It's like real life in your hands. Another plus would be the 3D in this game. I believe the 3D was the cause of my headaches, by the end of the night playing Kid Icarus for 3 hours straight. Everything from the main screen video, to the boss fights are filled with high-tech 3D streaming. Beautiful! Minuses - the one, and only main, huge, minus in this game had to be the talking going on between Pit, Palutena, and the characters in solo mode. Like are you kidding me, I'm trying to fight a boss and all I hear is voices in the background talking about something else. Other than that, the game received a 9 rating out of 10 from me. So, I definitely recommend this game to a friend. They might be blown away!
I opened the box and put in the game, and once I heard the original Kid Icarus tune, I knew it was great. I was not disappointed. The only problem I had were the controls. Other than that, amazing.
I found the humor/acting and story to be awesome ! i love KIU and its on my list of favorites. the only bad part are the weird ground level controls, but after about chapter 2 you get used to it!
its good but...
it was good but i didn't find me wanting to play it after i defeated the game in stead it sat in the corner weeping. You guys might feel differently about it than i do but my advice, spend your moms money on something different!
after finishing the game(and beating Hades *SPOILERS*)I see that chapter modes is the best!fusing weapons, playing with AR cards, oyu need to buy this game!
Pit is back! Better than ever
pit has returned in his own adventure game after 25 years! And yes, the wait was worth it! first of all the game has an amazing solo mode, with great captivating graphics that surpass the 3DS's capacity! is quite beautiful! The gameplay itsself is the reason why owning this game is so amazing! The flying segments are fast pased and action packed, and the ground battles are fun and hard! the online is amazing and there so many unlockables! this truly is a masterpiece!
The goods and bads
Kid Icarus Uprising was better than I imagined. The story is fantastic and captures gamers right at the beginning. The different amount of weapons are great also with the weapon fusion option. But there are some downfalls such as when Pit and Palluntena are talking on the touch screen you are busy trying to stay alive on the top screen. Also the controls are kind of different than regular games with the touchscreen to move the cursor and the L button to shoot with the circle pad to move. But overall the game was great
you need to get it!
this is amazing!full blown story mode, fun AR cards game, and especially:multiplayer!multiplayer is the best in the game so far (3 on 3).you need to get it!MUST HAVE!
Great game, but what happened to the exclusives?
I pre-ordered the game a while back, and the website said that EB Games was giving away 6 bonus cards with the initial set, I received nothing bonus with my game at my local EB. I was pretty upset about that.
However, speaking to the game, I do really like the game. The stand that comes with the game is great too, keeps your hands less... sore. The multiplayer is fun and enjoyable, and will no doubt keep the game fresh and fun even after beating it multiple times, and the weapons are pretty fun to play with too.
My only complaint is Pit's voice, but even that begins to grow on you after a while. Especially since there is a lot of comedy in the voice acting and story, I found myself chuckling on the bus ride home at some of the material.
So despite having not received the bonus set of cards, the game was definitely worth the pre-order.
