Super Street Fighter IV - 3DS
SSFIV3D was one of the several launch titles I picked up based on not only word of mouth but also from what I saw in previews and the likes.
The game offers a great selection of characters with many, many moves to master. Also makes great use of the 3D effect, its almost like watching little people fighting in a box as your playing.
SSFIV3D also manages to run at 60 fps, which for a handheld game is outstanding, everything is fluid and smooth just like you were playing on a console.
My only gripe with the game itself is that the online can be a little frustraiting, as many people play only 2-3 characters so you tend to fight against the same ones quite frequently. Also the people who play with "lite" consoles, spam moves frequently such as Guiles Sonic Boom, which when using "lite" has no charge time.
Capcom however added the ability to filter out play styles, so you can choose to only play against others using pro, or lite or either, so you can reduce the ammount of frustration.
All around the game itself is a solid title, and any fan of the series that happens to have a 3DS should not miss out on this one.
Street Fighter 4 in the palm of your hands!
Street Fighter 4 3D Edition is the best portable fighting game ever, maybe until DoA Dimension arrives? The lite controls make it easy for beginners to pull off Super and Ultra Combos. Complex button combos turn me off from the fighting genre in general, but I had a blast with this title.
The 3D effects are awesome. Online is fun and you can be matched with other players with the same skills. There are also medals to unlock and the Figurine Battles with Streetpass is a pretty neat idea. It's probably the easiest Street Fighter to get into in the series, and there's a lot here to keep the veterans happy. I've put in 30 hours into this game and I'm still having fun.
