Universal Astro A50 Wireless Headset
I have spent a lot of time trying to find the best headset available, primarily for my PC but i do have a PS3 and a xbox 360 aswell. This headset though takes a little bit to get used to on PC, was a quick plug and play for both of my consoles without any problems, no drivers no hassle. The sound is far greater than any other headset I've owned which include a couple logitech ones and a sennheiser 350 and 360. For the most part the 5.1 or 7.1 simulation audio is spot on and on games that support it will provide a noticeable difference. Also the noise canceling is great, you would be hard pushed to hear any outside noise when they are at a reasonable volume. The power lasts for about 10-12 hours on a single charge with the new firmware. Mic works great as well, only problem is that it is a little heavy, but that comes with most wireless headsets. So far i have owned it for about 6 months and have had no audio drops or other problems such as cracking or other technical issues. Though a little expensive, best gaming headset i have owned to date.
Buyer be warned!!!!
First of all these have great sound and looks great and well that's really it. These headsets always disconnected because there wireless and it was just too much of a hassle. For 300 it was not worth it trust me its not good at all. For people with PS3 slims this wont work at all there's a problem with the mix amp not getting enough power from it thus loosing connection like no tomorrow. Think about it they needed a firmware update to fix these and they still didn't work. I returned my first pair and the second pair was even worse, I had to go through two and they both sucked. Save your money people and the stress that comes with these.
