Excellent Survival Horror
If you have ADHD or belong to the COD generation, you ain't gonna like this game.
If instead you have patience, are smart, don't care about getting every single weapon and run around killing around zombies, and love suspense, horror, and feeling overwhelmed by the enemies, this is the game for you.
There are a good amount of weapons but the ammo is very, very scarce. It is so ironic that whenever you find ammo, you don't find the typical magazine....but you find bullets!!!, 2, 3, 4 bullets!!
This forces you to use the cricket bat A LOT, which for some could be repetitive. But hey, even playing COD every single installment gets repetitive!
The game is difficult with the bat, having to face more than 2 zombies could result in getting you killed. And if you get kill you start with a new character at the initial starting point, with just a bat and a pistol, and basic skills (every survivor gains weapon skills by using the weapon and killing zombies). Then you have to find your previous survivor and retrieve your stuff from its backpack. Sometimes you die so far away that it can take 10, 20 minutes to reach your zombified ex-survivor. This can be tedious. But again, if you get your fun by surviving, this will make you be aware of everything and take care of your survivor!
Since it was easy for me to just care of myself not caring about my weapons, I would use the environment to lean the zombies into narrow corridor's or vent exits where I can kill them one by one, or I would use flair to group them and then use grenades or molotovs to kill them in groups. This tells you that you need to be a quick decision maker and a fast strategist.
This is a new game for a new console. If you have experience with console launches in the past you know that the games get better with time. This game as survival horror is one of the best in years. The gamepad plays an important role in the fear factor too!
In my book this game deserves at least an 8/10

not good and horrible sound
Finnaly the wii u steps its game up for hardcore audience but it really dissapointed me it is really annoying when you keep hearing your character scream every time you hit a zombie and way too repetitive I did not have fun playing this.

Not Everyone is going to like it
This is a great game and it can be difficult and frustrating but man, it definitely is a keeper. The local multiplayer is absolutely awesome, too bad it's not online, but maybe it will be in the future. If you liked the first few resident evil games on the PSOne, you will love this. But it won't be to everyone's taste

Not as good as 1st thought
Played demo its not that great IMO, it is one of the better stand alone zombie games out there though, since so many of them kinda suck. The game/graphics look great, the way they used the new controller for the game is pretty well done, but the whole experience feels lacking. I would recomend trying a demo or a rental first. If you have an xbox or pc I would recommend looking up a game called State of Decay, it looks fantastic and seems to cover a truer aspect of the whole zombie apocalypse

i think this will be my first zomb game
according to the Product Details, this game if a fresh take on zomb games (yeah i call zombies, zomb(s)) The death mechanics are interesting, when you die you become another survivor. and you can find the old you but as a zomb and get your old "BOB" (your old stuff) back from former you lol the multiplayer mode is really great, the guy holding the gamepad controls some zombie master the p2 tries to survive. and if your connected online and die and get infected, your online buds get alerted, i am thinking the BOB is telling you your bud got infected or something.. thats cool and can loot your stuff (your zomb self stuff). Now i just really hope the map is big...

It's gonna be stupid!
Tried demo sucks it's gimmicky!Not interested...go buy an xbox or ps3 and play COD or left for dead or dead island!
