Well worth the wait

Having just played the Beta, I can honestly say I have no reservations about purchasing this game. This game will engross you the same way World of Warcraft and Dota did, but with added functionality. The auction house, just like in WoW. Five new character classes, all wonderfully built. Great graphics, and easy to use in game controls. This game will capture your imagination and your free time right from release, until the next big addiction is released and beyond. Get this game, and never look back.

Hopefully Worth the Wait

This game is looking amazing, I was about to pre-order the regular edition when I saw the collector's edition was availble again and I ordered it right away.
All the beta footage out now is making this game look like it will be well worth the long wait it's been.

Cannot wait!

Just ordered my collectors edition, cannot wait till this is out. Will be holding out if I have to to not play beta, so excited about this. Don't want that tainted with a sneak peak, will take everyone's word for it. Because lets face it blizzard fans are some of the pickiest gamers on the planet. If they say it's good then it will be.

Diablo is da bomb

When you play this game you will find yourself playing it. It has a protagonist and an antagonist, something games lack these days. You will be able to walk and do stuff in the game. Something you can do specifically is look at the grass. You can also attach 2 ACOG scopes to your ACR. This is a new addition to this 3rd person bird's eye view. Also the dlc isn' out.

Diablo 3 is going to be so awesome! I will most definitely buy the Diablo 3 Collector's Edition. The Soulstone and Skull. -Licks lips- OH YEAH!!!!!

Excited!

I am defnitely looking forward to this installment in such an epic series. The augmentation of skills, armor dyes, and character genders adds personalization to the game. I still play Diablo 2: LOD today and do not get tired. Also the addition of a "Real Money" auction house is a welcome addition to those who would love to have certain items but do not have the time to play hardcore. And that leads me to my final point, Blizzard has provided us the power of choice. To those who maintain that paying for items ruins a game, I see their point. However Blizzard should be commended for the effort to make their game environments safe (not blasted for supposedly ruining game dynamics, the game economy, and creating a disparity between rich and poor). I cannot fully predict what the game economy will be like with the implementation of a Real Money AH. However I do know, you do not have to risk being scammed when purchasing items from 3rd party farmers any longer. Creating a safe playing environment where people can enjoy the game in the way they see fit for themselves (yes, even those rich bums who buy their uber lewt) is as important as balancing the game even. Anyways, I pre-ordered my collectors edition for the artbook, so I will see you all in Sanctuary!

Worth it if you like it

I am not a Blizzard fanboy, nor do I drool over any of the upcoming games. This one is no different - let me explain. The gameplay is straight forward and smooth, at least from what I experienced in beta. The feel of the game is similar to that of the original Diablo series and the new graphics and physics make it all more amazing. The game is certainly going to take a solid place in the market and make a lot of sales. As for the price - it is definitely overpriced when you think about what you get versus what you want. If you feel like you could use a USB key and you are a fan of the game - get the Collector's Edition, as every penny you pay is exactly what the game deserves. If you are looking at Collector's Edition as a way of getting ahead in the game itself - not so much. And if you want the Collector's Edition to impress girls - I have one thing to say. It works!

also dont forget that on the usb there is diablo 2 and LoD the expansion also included with the purchase of the collectors edition. worth the price and worth the wait.

Pretty Excited!

I was in the Closed Beta for this game, and it's pretty darned polished. I had great fun testing out all the classes, and as always the random item drops make for tons of replayability (as with previous Diablo games). The only beef I had with it was the difficulty level, which I hope will be addressed for the release. At no point was death ever an issue, even against Leoric. But as always, Blizzard puts out amazing games, and I'm sure they'll put out again ;-) . As for the Collector's Edition contents, I don't care much for the WoW pet, but that's a small portion of the bigger picture to me. I am looking forward to adorning my office with a Diablo skull, and tossing a Soul Stone onto my keychain! And you can't really argue with artwork and music since those have never disappointed in the past. All in all, this will be a game to look forward to, and I'll see you all on the fields of battle!
