StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty
Single player is great but way to short. Single player will last you a few hours and like all Blizzard games will leave you with nothing but PvP to do afterwards. The graphics and sound are perfect. The controls are similar to StarCraft 1. The story is top notch. Multi-player is still the Zerg-Fest it was in Starcraft 1. The person with the most infantry in 10 minutes wins. Until all the expansions are released and its all consolidated into one battlechest for a good price I would advise saving a few bucks.
An epic game!
This game is the best strategy game. It's not for nothing that it is so popular around the world. The campaign system is great, though I did not have the chance to play that much, since I only play multiplayer. The multiplayer is very competitive and fun. You can play against people of your strength and grow in ranks in your division. You can also jump to better division when you increased your skills. The gameplay is just perfect. It is the kind of game that you could always play, even after 10 years. So if you are looking for a great game with competition where you need skills or just a casual game this is it. Especially if you like strategy game. If strategy games are not your type, this game may make you love strategy games.
The single player campaign is fun for everyone, and with the range of difficulties just about anyone can get into it. The graphics are as good as any RTS can get from the top down view, but the cut scenes are where the graphical prowess come to play, and between mission when you get to explore your ship. Hours of replayability especially with special challenges and online coop and versus modes which is classic starcraft of course
