I recommend this console. This is also the best console in the world it has free Internet and even better tha Xbox 360 .

Best Platform There Is
I know people will say the Xbox is better, but the PS3 is great for Hardcore Gamers by having a great selection of games and making Playstation Network (Wifi) free to use, as Xbox Live is I believe $60 a year for online features. If you do not own a PS3, you are missing out on plenty of fun. A great consle for any ages. Also, I am not a Sony/Playstation fanboy by any means, but the PS3 is my favourite console.

What a gangster system
I've had my PS3 for bout 3-4 years and it is gangster. Sony is the best electronics system in my opinion and no one can convince me otherwise. I'm going to admit the online is not the best but everything else is dynamite. I can only say I love it. The controllers are the best and sit in your hands beautifully. The physical form of the system itself looks very modern and slick. The performance is outstanding though. I would highly recommend this system.

Not as good as the Xbox but not that bad
The PS3 runs really well, Mine is like 5 years old and its an old model and it still runs perfectly and plays any game I insert. There are some things that are not good however like the dashboard. When sony made that dashboard what were they thinking? There is like no pictures or anything. Also when you insert a disk it takes the system a few seconds to recognize there is a disk in there and then it takes another few seconds to figure out what the game is called. Another thing I don't like is whenever you buy a new game it has to download stuff before you can play it and sometimes the downloading can take like an hour another thing that is wrong is there is no disk tray and if the "disk ejector" gets wrecked then you have to like break your console open to get the disk out. Another thing that the Sony messed up on is the controller, why are the sticks right beside each other? I would recommend an Xbox because it fixes all those bad things about the PS3, it has a good dashboard, it recognizes games right away, it only takes like 5 seconds to download the info it needs, it has a disk tray which can easily be manually opened if the motor breaks, and the controller sits easily in your hand and the sticks are where your thumbs naturally reach. There are however some good things that I like about the PS3, like I said it runs perfectly no matter how old, its always quiet no matter how good the graphics are in the game (and some of the games have like real life graphics) also one of the things I love about the PS3 is it has a great DVD and Blu-ray player, we didn't have to spend money on a DVD or Blu-ray player cause we just use our PS3. There are some pros and cons about the PS3 so I would recommend the Xbox before the PS3 but I would still recommend the PS3.

My Honest Opinion
If you are just a kid or want to take gaming casually, the ps3 is the way to go. I admit i am a fanboy of the ps3 but i just like the controllers. If you want to play online every once in a while its good; but if your playing everyday then you should get an xbox. Overall if your 14 get it it, if you're 18 get a xbox.

Great console!
I bought this a year ago and i still love playing with it, it is the best console (in my prediction), here are some PROS and CONS, lets start with the PROS, first of all this console is great, you can play with your friends for FREE, you can play games movie, music, videos, games, and more, the space in the PS3 is fair, and has a lot of Only on PlayStation titles, there are many more Pros i'd like to tell you but I don't want to make this to long, now for the Cons, the PS3 is a really good console, but has a few CONS, heres some of them, when ever your playing a game and you go back to the screen it takes really long just to get back to the game, but that's my only CON, and if you don't have a PS3 then you should really get one because it does a lot of stuff, i rated the PS3 10/10!

Awesome
Awesome! The PS3 is a great console with more memory for less money. Online is free so i can play online as much as i want. The graphics are way better then Xbox if u have a HDMI Cable.( U can get one from 123inkcartdiges for $5). Everyone complains that the controller is too big, but it's awesome. People say" You fingers slip too much" well no! The controller is good and is a good size. Overall PS3 is way better then Xbox 360.

TERRIBLE
It lags,it has terrible online xbox is faster and has better online. The controller is puny and feels weird dont waste your hard earned money on this and get an xbox360 it's a lot better than the ps3 trust me.

My First Sony Experience is a Good One
Pros:
- Great exclusive games
- Free online network that has lots of great games, demos, trailers, TV shows and movies
- DUALSHOCK®3 Wireless Controller feels comfortable to hold and doesn't take too long to get used to
- Sleek and compact
- Easy to navigate through the main menu
- Amazing DVD and Blu-ray disc player
Cons:
- No ports for wired controllers
- No backwards compatibility with PS2 games
I bought my PS3 (and first non-Nintendo console) a few weeks ago and have not regretted it. It is a great console which is not only a game system, but also a Blu-ray player. I would definitely recommend it.

It only does EVERYTHING!!!
The list goes on and on what PS3 can do. It can do so many things. it is really cool.
