Best Call Of Duty Games Yet!
This is by far the best call of duty game ever. I have tried MW3 and MW2. The graphics for Black Ops surpassed both games and the game play was excellent. I just love this game and will never switch|! I hope Black Ops 2 is better! The sound is of average first person shooters so I hope they make the quality better.

Yet another mindless shooter.
When Call of Duty: Black Ops was released, it wall all the rave. I swear this has to be one of the greatest selling games in the past five years. I play all genres of games and have been playing since I was 7. This game to me is nothing more than another mindless first person shooter. The graphics are unarguably terrible, the gameplay is sloppy yet functional, and the main story is dry and boring. Sam Worthington portrays Alex Mason, the story's protagonist. He does a fair job at voice acting, however I can still hear a touch of his Australian accent. Not to be picky, but it doesn't seem believable when his character is supposed to be an American soldier. The multiplayer is absolutely horrible. Yes, it can be fun with a group of friends, but it's incredibly frustrating and filled with waves of underage children running and hopping around the screen like maniacs. There is a major lag when playing online and often you will find yourself dead not knowing how or when it happened. There is no strategy involved in this game whatsoever except for the old "run and gun" technique. If you're looking for a great shooter, I suggest Battlefield 3 any day. Save your money.

awesome game treyarch
black ops has a surprisingly good and interesting campaign. it has the gameplay as any of the cods but with better graphics. i still prefer the mw series because of the attachment unlocks by achievements instead of cod points. zombie maps have a more interactive options like pack a punch (der riese) and teleports (moon) plus maps from cod world at war.

ONE OF THE BEST CODS EVER!!!
All of the cods are good but this is great, there is an epic campain that is great but kind of fast, once your finish campain u can go to multiplayer and have fun with your friends, and if your bored of playing multiplayer you can the zombie mode with lots of zombie maps.

Awesome game
This game is worth every penny you pay for it. I've had this game for a long time but it still is awesome and still fun to play. The online is also very fun. The zombies are also very neat.

One of the ps3's best games
Nobody expected treyarch, the publishers of games like World at war, and quantum of solace, would even make a blip on the map, and would continue to be eclipsed by infinity ward's monumental succes that was 2009's MW2. Black ops is testimony to just how great the FPS genre can be. Yes, it's no simulation and yes, there are noobtubers and weapon exploiters, but Black ops' online play offers an extremely balanced and fun experience, a Campaign that I found much better then MW2's, and if you absolutely hate all of these things with a passion, thwn you absolutely need to play the zombies mode. Treyarch and Raven did an amazing job on the DLC's, and while getting them a month late is a slight bother, it's easily surmountable with a little bit of patience. Easily in my top 5 favorite games... but it's not exactly Uncharted, it it?

It's COD, what else can I say
Black Ops is a great game with a short, yet fun single player and addictive online component, including zombies.... and you knew that already... C.O.D. B. O. feels identical to 5 and 6, and the graphics aren't mind blowing either. The online is the same as always, arcade style shooting, and the story makes sense. The game overall is the best shooter you can buy.

Good, but there is better
Call of duty: Black ops is the seventh game in the Call of duty series, it has a good single player campaign that has a good length with a unexpected ending, but it is more or less good. Some parts are very cheesy, there a part where you driving a boat, while being capable of firing an M60 and 2 M202 rocket launchers, I know they are fired by squad mates, but it is still ridiculous. The multiplayer is also good, having no ''broken'' weapons or perks, but there are several weapon combination which are just flat out superior to any other weapon in the game, it is why we don't see much variety in weapons ingame, it is also disappointing to know that many guns are in the game are nearly clones. This combined makes that the majority of gamers only use a very few weapons in order to get scores (therefore using these guns as clutches to their lack of skill). The multiplayer also get's somewhat boring after a while. The pace is seriously slower than in Modern Warfare 2. Another factor that can be quite frustrating is the fact that Treyarch did prioritize the Xbox360 version over any other platform (PS3, PC and Wii), this resulted in poor connections online and many other performance problems. Quite disappointing I'd say. As a long standing Call of duty fan (way before you CoD4 people), I can say that Call of duty: Black ops is a good game, but does not really stand up to the expectations of the community of it's predecessors, still it is a good game.
