awesome game
best soccer game ever...has improved a lot from fifa 11. The multiplayer is really fun! It is also much more realistic. Over all, it is a really good game and i think you should buy it.

Great! but not perfect
I havnt played a FIFA game for a few years so this game was leaps and bounds from what i had previously experienced. And my overall opinion is that i am very impressed. the graphics of the players are great, but (and i know im being picky) the crowd looked like 1 person copied and pasted 1000 times with two different colours of shirts. I was a little rusty on my soccer strategy so putting the game on the easiest mode is very forgiving and lets you learn the ropes, so you have time to think about what you are doing. But when you turn the difficulty up is when the game actually gets deep. there are alot of different controls for your player when you have the ball and one of the most rewarding things is your created player becomes a better player pending on how you play. for example if you never pass the ball, your passing will stay shoddy, but if you pass alot eventually you will be able to thread the needle on the corner kick and dazzle the fans in no time. there is a big emphasis on team pride and there is several different modes. The new feature they are bragging about is the new collision engine. And i can see how some people are frustrated with it because it is alot easier to get feet tangled at the cost of a yellow card, but the plus to it is the realism and the huge veriety in which players interact with eachother on the field. If you are a hardcore soccer fan or just a casual sports gamer looking to lace up those virtual cleets, this game is a solid purchase.

Simply better than Fifa 11.
Not only are the graphics noticeably smoother and cleaner to allow for better gameplay, but in combination with the new adaptive abilities of the players, this game has already significantly decreased flaws and increased overall fun to Fifa 11. Not to mention, the choices and options available are once again, unlimited. From goalie career mode, to online gameplay with bonus content, the all star dream team is only a kick away. The commentators are still funny and great, the soundtracks are also pretty good. So to be honest, this game is a must have for any sports/ soccer fan.

Awful
The game is horrible! The game play is incredibly poor, the creators always do this, they over power one team that is viewed as the "best in the world". Barca is way to good they are incredibly over rated. You can't put pressure on players anymore, You have to get in front of them to guard them and all the players do is stick their foot out and cause a foul 90% of the time. Overall I would NOT get the game, they jump from 11 to 12 is insignificant, it's not worth buying stick with 11.
