ive played lots of rpg games and this one just doesnt cut it. the graphics look bad even when using hdmi it looks like psn's dungeon defenders game graphics and the story's not really captivating. worse they've plugged in finishers to try to make their game look cool.

But not quite. If you're a beginner looking to branch out into the RPG genre this may be for you. Even on it's hardest difficulty it's laughable. The cartoonish style is poorly done, the game over all is boring and repetitive and lacks any real substance.

Suitable as an "RPG for Dummies" title if you will.

@ArcticWinter There's an in-progress review on IGN of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning in case you want to check it out and make up your mind. I'm just saying this because it looks like a really cool game and I think it deserves to do well, even though the industry appears to be quiet about it.

8/10 demo

Graphically the game is Alright. Voice acting and Script are a bit melo-dramatic. but overall decent. the combat is very fluid and quite engaging. The skill and destiny aspect is interesting and theres plenty of abilties for all 3 combat styles. The demo did have a few issues but it is a demo. The game as a whole seems to be what dragon age 2 should have been..

Everything looks ok with this one. I'm a little skeptical due to the fact that RPG's with EA's logo on the box most often translates into an overly-simplified version of an RPG. I'm going to keep an open mind here, but I'll probably wait and see what the critics have to say about this one.
