Take it or Leave it
Going into this title i read all the bad reviews and just took one for the team and picked it up, i have owned every RE game sense PSX. For the most part as written before the team AI is almost useless, running around and you have ZERO tactical control over them, it takes 2-3 headshots to down a zombie, i have blown through more clips and nads then i have in my entire COD carrier in just over 6 hours in REORC. graphics are not the sharpest ive seen and the Light to moderate class upgrades are straight forward with no branching and "power" unlocks are on par with class. All that aside i really like this title, Nostalgia, actual Zombies from the old RE days, and in mass. Hunters and Lickers make a comeback. The ability to invite your friends into the campaign is cool over public MP. If you are expecting RE6 this is not the title for you, if you just want to pick up a gun and shoot alot of zombies with a little help from your friends in a familiar RE world working for the bad guys this is a fun game.6 class's to pick from with different ability's add a little replay value, at least to me.

Just plain awful
Mediocre graphics, insulting A.I., terrible hit detection and reaction, weak plot, and a 2 1/2 hour single player campaign equals a massive waste of time, money, and hope. This doesn't feel or look anything like a Resident Evil game. It plays like a $9.99 download deal of the week. Keep away from this title before it bites and infects you with disappointment.

A Black Eye to the Resident Evil Franchise
I have been a huge Resident Evil fan since the beginning, but this game definitely hurts the franchise. First of all, it is extremely glitchy, pointlessly hard, and the new gameplay needs a lot of improvement. The game is also very short. I finished it in about 5 hours and I do not play all that many video games. Not worth buying, but if you are a fan of Resident Evil it's worth trying out. Lots of cool scenes from RE 2.

I will never get that time, or money back
I LOVE CAPCOM. I LOVE RESIDENT EVIL... AND I THINK THAT AN ONLINE MULTIPLAYER CO OP OR TDM IS AN AMAZING THING TO DO WITH A RESIDENT EVIL GAME...... but this is stupid.... I buy almost every game that ever comes out.... and i try to look for the light in the darkness when a game starts to stink it up.... but this is in excuseable.... glitch after glitch after glitch after,, well you get my point.. The concept is amazing... two forces with different agendas fighting with and against eachother in a zombie infested urban area... but the delivery.. absolutely HORRIBLE.. the load times are atrocious... and the glitches are too hard to look past.. for example i was playing a capture the flag type game and the FLAG GLITCHED AND NO ONE COULD PICK IT UP... which happened to me 3 times on different games on different days... another glitch, when the game started i had 5 clones which stood side by side in front of me and blocked my view and so i could not see... just all in all ... dont waste your money.....

For the fans of Resident Evil
I had very low expectations when going into this game (as I had high expectations when playing RE: Outbreak and was disappointed). So needless to say that my expectations were reached and beat. The boss battles are a little much, but the game gives what it promises, the opportunity to run through Raccoon City and kill hordes of zombies and B.O.W.s. Sure the graphics could be better and my AI teammates suck, but that just encourages me to go online and find effective team members to rain down vengeance on the city that has left me with PTSD from RE2. This game is meant for hardcore gamers who are fans of the RE games. Nuff said.

A Major Disappointment
I have followed the Resident Evil franchise since day 1 and enjoyed every title that has been released to date. Naturally when I heard that there was a new Resident Evil title being released on the PS3, it caught my attention. After looking up some gameplay videos and reading what little information I could find, it sounded like a fun, well thought of game. I went in to my local Gamestop and pre-orded. When the game was released on the following Tuesday, I was excited to bring it home. Unfortunately, the title just didn't live up to my expectations. The graphics were mediocre at best with boss enemies often looking too "cartoony". The main playable characters are all very dull, the combat is pathetic and clunky, the melee is terrible, the shooting is accurate and effective however the weaponry seems so underpowered that it tears the shooting system to shreds and enemies are nearly invincible. You would expect a boss enemy to be able to take a good punishment, but when you pump about 1,000 rounds between all four teammates into the boss and it barely flinches, it's a little sad. Even the regular enemies such as zombies and soldiers can take a good pounding, even withstanding point-blank shotgun blasts several times before death. If you are able to achieve constant head shots on regular zombies, you have that down. However all other enemies seem to have no major weakness. Hunters and lickers are like walking tanks. Fortunately, none of the enemies in this game seem to be able to do any considerable amount of damage. Ammo is plentiful, but with the amount of rounds you will pump out every five minutes, you will find yourself constantly using your completely useless sidearm more than often. Being infected is a pathetic system. When you are infected, your health bar decreases until it runs out. After running out, your character will "go beserk" and become a completely uncontrollable maniac until you are killed or re-spawn. To top it all off, the enemy AI is awful, but your teammates AI is just beyond anything that I have ever seen. They walk into every single mine, constantly run away from enemies, leave you alone, never heal you or help you in any way or form, and get stuck walking into corners where they can't seem to get out of. Despite the fact that this is a Resident Evil title, I would definitely move on and find something else to play like Mass Effect 3.

Realistic Zombies survival horror
This game is AMAZING, its like an actual zombie game where you get infected when bitten and have a certain amount of time to get a anti-viral spray. Its full of suspense, pitch black environment, awesome co-op campaign, triple threat multiplayer.
