This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

If you are like me and grew up gaming in the 90s then is game is for you, this game is what gaming is all about fun mixed with skill. this game is hard but fair and at the end you feel like you have accomplished somthing and you caint wait for more. Thank you sony for giving us gamers a real game, not a $60 cut and past movie that comes out every year. and to the new gamers out there this will be a treat for you and you get to privilege to see what gaming once was.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

First of all, I have been playing Twisted Metal games ever since I got my PS1. I have been waiting years for this game, and it didn't surprise me that it would live up to my expectations. I gave this game an overall of 8 out of 10 because of the shiny graphics, fun gameplay, and feelings of nostalgia as upsides, but somewhat jumpy physics, difficulty level, and average soundtrack (the licensed songs are good, but the original songs are bland, with the exception of the Twisted Metal theme of course) as downsides. I found this a great buy, worth every penny!

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

This new iteration in the TM series is the first one I have played of the legendary playstation series, and boy was it worth it! The focus here is the explosive and exhilarating gameplay. It can be difficult to get a handle on the controls right away, but the are well done and can be mastered with a little effort.The story is well told through cutscenes that combine live action and CG animations, and while it is an odd choice, it doesn't detract from the insanity of the story. All 3 characters are completely psychotic and its awesome! The games graphics, while not amazing, allow for smooth frame-rates that rarely slow down, if at all. The sound does justice to the explosions that fill matches, but some songs of the setlist seem out of place. Overall I recommend the game to hardcore gamers, and those looking for a solid multiplayer title, both online, through 4 player splitscreen and 2 player offline co-op. It's a great game!

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

Trust me when i say this game is good. The cars bounce a little much and you'll know what i mean if you play. Don't under estimate this game though. Just because it might look easy, it's hard. I think it's sad to say that this is the only hard game I've played in 5 years. That's what makes it so good. The game caters to itself and not the players, which is why i love it. The cars are good and all of them are unique. Each car is built so that you don't have the feeling that you're using the same thing over and over again. The controls are easy to learn as well, which is good for new comers. I also like how there are new modes as well. One mode you'll be playing capture the leader, another you'll be racing through the city, and as always there is that classic arena mode that we all loved. I believe to truly appreciate this new title, you have to have grown up with the series, but if you didn't i still recommend that you try this game.
PS. Buy it new to get Twisted Metal Black
