PlayStation®Vita (Wi-Fi System)
Love My Vita! Great System :)
Bought this a couple days after the release date. Love it as much as the day I bought it! Great touch screen which responds a 100 times better than i expected! Dual cameras which are handy for Skype which runs PERFECT and very mobile! The amount of apps are fairly awesome( Facebook, Twitter Ect...) The web browser is OK, and its the only thing that i really not impressed with(I've seen no name tablets that utilize Web browsers better!) But I've got a laptop for that.
No standard Memory or HD which was a bit disappointing but cards are fairly cheap so not such a big deal. Lots of power,It runs a high res games like Uncharted and Rayman EASY(with crazy good FPS) and u can seamlessly move through the tabs and menus in the PS Vita's control screen while the games playing. Love the battery life which can be weeks on stand by or playing Rayman Origins for 7 hours straight! The System is made solid as well. It fells more like a tablet with PlayStation buttons. Not impressed with the lack of quality games released with the system tho. Really hope this part picks up. The new Assassins Creed 3 bundle looks awesome and i might upgrade to this in November(I'm a big fan of the white systems and Assassins Creed :)) I really do recommend picking one up if u travel or use public transit on regular basis or are a hardcore gamer(For consistent home use) All in all its worth the money and is a great and solid feeling system which is on sale for 249.99 with 4gb memory, case, game, Ect... (Wish i waited LOL!) Thanks for reading and happy gaming :)
The ps vita is great except that the camera is bad and there is no internal memory other wise the vita is amazing the touch screen and the rear touch pad are amazing so I would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying the ps vita.
Awesome product, needs changes
This is an awesome system. the graphics are good and the games will be good, especially when bf3 and mw3 come out for it. the screen color is really crisp and bright. the rear touchpad is a good feature except that I think it needs to be smaller. when games such as bf3 that you can already stream on it using remote play, need to have a R2 and L2 button, you touch either side of the touch pad to use them. which makes the grip for holding it very difficult because the touchpad is so big. the speakers could also be moved too. when using the joysticks your thumb goes over the speaker and dampens the sound. overall a great system. and would suggest buying one. the AR cards it comes with are cool to, but a pain to have to carry around when you want to play a game that uses them like little devients. ( the AR cards for thoughs who dont know, use the rear camera and turn things like your table or floor into an augmented reality (AR)). Cant wait till more games come out and can be cross played with the PS3 ( only good game now that does that is wipe out). it will bring a whole new meaning to portable gaming and more users too. its a bit of a wait for some good titled games, a new call of duty is set out for September 2012 but should be worth the wait. and hopefully it holds the cross play option with the ps3. I could go on and on about it.
Will Be Better Then PS3
I got my hands on a psvita and honestly i think when they get all there games out in the near future it will be more fun to play the psvita. not saying it will surpass income of ps3 as this is a handheld but me myself enjoyed it alot better then a ps3 and will be buying.
Looks awesome. I Can't wait to get mine. I will definitely be reordering. The hardware and graphics look amazing and as good as any current home console. This is the future of the portable device market. The Nintendo DS has nothing on this. Uncharted looks great, but I am a little skeptical of Reality Fighter but other than that all looks smooth.
They never said "don't buy 3DS"
lol @ the poster who thinks PlayStation said not to buy the Nintendo 3DS...your loco.
This new handheld console (PS Vita) will give the 3DS some true competition in the market as the next gen system (finally).
Not sure about the NGP media format but I guess we'll have to see when they're finally released.
Personally looking forward to getting a WiFi version once they're released in Feb. 2012.
I personally love the PS Vita, even if it does have some flaws. Here are the flaws: The cameras are pretty bad. The game selection right now is not that good. Memory cards are pretty expensive. No good case out right now that I can play in and have the PS Vita be protected. . Me stating these flaws doesn't mean that the PS Vita is bad. I am just saying that it is not the best it could be. The games are still fine, with decent prices. Camera is not really used too much anyway. Mainly for Augmented Reality games. Memory cards not really problem if you buy the games at the actual store and if you get the starter pack. There will be a case made soon enough. . Amazing handheld overall!
i can't wait for the PS Vita! I Ioved the PSP and this sounds like a super improved and cooler versions of it! And finally for the first time on a portable gaming system there are dual anologue sticks and it has wifi and two touch screens and there is already an impresive line up of games annouced for it. What's not to love :)
woohoo this is awesome but.. (deep sigh) 195 more days to go...
While I agree that the Vita looks pretty awesome, what in the world does it have to do with telling people not to buy a 3DS. The 3DS is amazing, even if it's library is currently lacking. The Vita looks like it will be quite good and I'm sure I'll end up getting one, but that's no reason not to pick up the 3DS.
