One of the most storied franchises in history soars to new heights. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword shakes up the tried-and-true adventure game formula and marks a turning point for the franchise. The introduction of full motion controls enabled by Wii MotionPlus technology synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering the most intuitive play control of any game in the series to date.

Thanks to the required Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. The precision play control is applied to enemies as well, as players must contemplate strategy when battling opponents that actively try to defend against attacks.
Wii MotionPlus puts an arsenal of items at the player's disposal. It offers a multitude of actions with just simple, intuitive motions. Players will try their hand at firing a bow, tossing bombs and using a whip to battle enemies and solve puzzles.
The game will also introduce a distinct new graphical style perfectly suited to the franchise's fantastical universe, like a painting come to life.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will offer a multitude of new game-play mechanics, giving it a refreshingly different feel from all of the past titles in the series.

This game is perfect for: kid gamers

Skyward Sword has to be one of my favorite games, after playing it I can never look at Nintendo without utter respect for them, they always try something different and cool. The sword fighting and flying was incredible. If you do not already have a Wii, go out there and get one, and while your at it pick up a copy of this game.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

This is seems like a mix of LOZ Wind Waker and LOZ Twilight Princess. No, you are not toon Link in this game. This game requires Wii Motion Plus, but it's worth every penny. This game keeps the original feel of all Zelda's, so when you start playing it it will feel like a classic, epic game! You will love it, I do. I play it all the time!

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

Finally a game which explains the first chapter of Hyrule's history. I got to see some gameplay at E3, and was pleasantly surprised at how well Nintendo incorporated some of Zelda's key items to create this stunning work of art. The visuals throughout the world are beyond beautiful, and completely fulfill any expectations. Unless of course you preferred Twilight Princess' darker story line, then this game may feel childish to you. If you began the Zelda series with Twilight Princess, then I assure you this is a huge change to the graphical, as well as physical feel of the world. Seeing as this is a prequel to all former games in the franchise, I think it's safe to say that this graphical style well suits the world at the current plot point. After all, this IS before Ganondorf.

The Legend of Zelda is a great series, and this game is no exception. The music is amazing, the graphics are spectacular on the Wii, and the motion controls are actually pretty impressive. The pre-order CD that game with the initial shipment is awesome too. Definitely check this game out if you have a Wii.

Like many other i Grew up with Zelda, Sadly the Graphics are Junk compared to any Xbox or PS3 adventure Game IE Uncharted or Skyrim or Arkham City, Save you're money because it won't be the same of you're not 8 anymore.
