Didn't belong in this great series
This game was a flat out disappointment. I could barely play the game over the constant tutorial pictures on the side of the screen, telling me how to play the game that I've been trying to beat for a long time. To get to missions I had to run / get on a horse through a open field half the time. Then on top of that the story didn't even contribute to the series. You could get someone to tell you the 2 important story parts then skip this game and go to revelations. The combat was too easy and that made the game extremely boring. it seems as though they are making this series easier and easier and more and more boring, Assassin's Creed 2 was challenging and not annoying at the bit because it was so fun, this is not the case for this game. The jumping camera angles and controls for jumping from ledge to ledge was the most poorly done mechanic I've ever seen in a game. I would not play this, just Google the story bits. Poorly done.

Awesome game!
The Campaign was quite long and althought it felt a bit repetative sometimes it was fun and entertaning. It also has a good story but it was a bit hard to firgure out what was going on at the start because i didn't play AC:1 or 2. There is also online multiplayer that is very unique and fun. My only real complaint about this game would be that the controls are a bit sloppy and anoying sometimes.

Great game, some sloppy controls and physics.
This game grabbed my attention because I played the amazing game: Assassin's Creed 2. But this game let me down in a few ways but was still amazing, I encountered many times where i slipped off things for no reason, animations locked up and controls just did not work when I used them, the story seemed like a short continuation of Assassin's Creed 2 with only a few advancements. I think its time for a new assassin before they wear this one out, I would still love to play this again and it is a overall great game excluding the glitches.

Great Game!!! Assassin's Creed 2.5
I'm a fairly big fan of the assassin's creed series, the first was great but the second one really reinvented the game, I didn't really get that feeling while playing brotherhood, the gameplay was solid but virtually untouched, the game did have some inventive points like destroying the various weapons that were owned by the Borgia, it really kept the gameplay fresh, but wasn't enough for it to feel like a whole new other game. the online was great and fun to play but lacked players so you had to wait in game lobbies sometimes for nearly twenty minutes, and was very glitchy regardless of connection. The games story was almost flawless with it's share of twists, colorful characters and not to mention the choice to not have to play or see Desmond for the whole game unless you really wanted to, for good reason since he didn't play much of a large part in the majority of the game. If Assassin's creed is anything, it is a massively open world game where you can travel through Rome's entirety from the Vatican to The Colosseum, the environments are almost breathtaking even when your not experiencing the game in high definition, you can explore Rome's brighter sides and darker sides from various catacombs and sewers, to castles and the city streets. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood offers a lot aside from it's stories like the various passerby missions that don't do much for the story but reward you with flourines and other goodies, but since there is so much purchasing of real estate it starts to feel like Monopoly Venetian Rome, plus you will and the game with more than enough money than you really need. Assassin's Creed has a little system where you hire and train assassin's to do various missions for money " Yes, More Money" but you can also use them to take out assassin targets that are a bit too risky, this was really cool but makes the game too easy especially if you heavily rely on it. I was quite glad when I noticed that Brotherhood head a substantial decrease in collectibles, compared to the previous Assassin's Creed games it was way more do able, you only need to claim 10 meager feather to Assassin's Creed 2's 100 feathers. Assassin's creed still the flare that Assassin's Creed 2 had but they didn't seem to build upon, not really stifling the game but not moving it forward from the previous game, hence the title Assassin's Creed 2.5.
