Batman at his best
This is a game that truly spoke to me, some of my fondest memories from this generation of consoles are from this game (and it's sequel). The graphics are gorgeous, they perfectly convey the feelings of the game. The atmosphere is dark and moody and draws you into the game. The game play is amazing, a perfect mix of flowing combat and button mashing (you can play the whole game button mashing but you don't feel the full power of being Batman till you slow down a bit and learn to fight.), smoothly punching one goon to only flip away and throw batarangs while closing in for a special take down can be down with just a few simple button pushes. The game also has the added fun of the Riddler's puzzles, items that you must scan or question marks you must find, it all adds to the game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone, though if you have a PS3 I suggest getting it on PS3 for the Joker mode. (It's not a huge part so don't feel too bad if you can't play it.)

Batman: Arkham Asylum
The game over-all is very easy to beat. even on the hard difficulty. It's worth getting if you like to get some difficult achievements.

Best Superhero Game ever created!
Batman: Arkham Asylum is not like other superhero games, in this, it's like the actual Batman movies, you hide in the shadows and when it's the right time, you jump out and attack, there are many different ways to do this, you could just jump out and put your enemy in a choke-hold, you could daze them with a baterang or blow them up with explosive gel, there are still many other ways. Campaign isn't as long as I would like it to be, but you still get a good kick out of it, you encounter many Batman villains like Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Scarecrow and many others that you face in battles. The Challenge Mode is fun too, it's like Spec Ops in MW2, you play bits out of the campaign to get highscores and achievements/trophies. There are a lot of extras in it too that are pretty neat. I highly reccomend this to anyone who enjoys play as superheros or Batman or just want to smash henchmens faces in.

Good refurb, bad game.
Game is bad. The game is way to repetitive. And lastly, don't buy it.

Won't be able to stop playing
Are you looking for a game where everyone is friends and their is no violence or action at all, where everyone dreams come true. Well then Batman Arkham Asylum is not for you. In this unbeliveable game made by Rocksteady you take on the role of being the dark Knight, in one of his most ridiculous adventures ever. The story of the game was amazing, and the way they set everything up was even more impressive. In the start of the game you just captured the Joker and taken him back to Arkham Asylum. Only problem was that Joker wanted to be taken back for his party. Joker takes control of the asylum and frees all of the inmates including some of Batman's most dangerous enemies. For ex. Bane, Harley Quinn, and Killer Croc. The riddler is also in the game but you do not see him for he just gives you riddles to figure out and solve all through Arkham, their is a total of 240 riddles. One thing you will really like about the game is that even when you beat it, their is still so much stuff to do. Finding all of the riddles and the challenges included in the games. Overall I give this game a strong 9.8 out of 10, and can't wait for the sequel to this first very successful Batman game.
