Dragon Age Origins
a truly incredible game
I absolutely love this game. the graphics are not terrible but not great. the story line is always my favourite part of an RPG. I bought all the DLC and I love all of them. the simplicity actually makes the game better I feel.
This is one of my favourites.
The storyline in this game is unmatched. It simply is one of the most impressive and Impressionable storylines I have ever had the chance to play through.
I was drawn in from the start and it never let me go util the end and it still left me wanting more. The main characters and NPCs were brilliantly done.
My only complaint would be that it is sometimes tough to controll in sticky situations.
By far one of the most immersive games I have played.
A deep, involving, story-driven RPG. A classic.
Bioware definitely lived up to the promise of creating an RPG that threw back to the glory days of the Bulder's Gate series. The story is well told, and each individual scenario/quest that the game puts you on has some great characters, and presents some pretty heavy choices to face you with.
The gameplay definitely feels better on PC, but the console game still works. On the downside, the combat won't be everyone's cup of tea, and the game doesn't always properly explain everything about its mechanics. But once you DO get a hand of everything, you'll find that the RPG and character progression is deep and involving, allowing for a lot of strategy in how you build your party and skills.
The voice acting is EXCELLENT, and the characters are great. Getting involved with each member feels rewarding, and will reflect more and more in the different scenarios. How they feel about you is important. Gaining their approval through what you say and do will improve their performance in battle, open up quests, and opens up relationship options. Losing their approval could very well lead to them leaving your party, or full-on attacking you.
This is a great throwback RPG. It may not be for everyone, but it's something that I really enjoyed. Bioware did great work here. The character interaction is awesome, and some of the moral choices feel really impactful on the world. Awesome game.
This game was so awesome, I lost entire days playing it. There were some glitches in sound every so often during monologs but otherwise I could not have asked for a better game. I have replayed this game soooooo many times and it is still wonderful. I find that the rouge is probably the best character to be but the mage is great too out of all the options. Really my only problem with the game is that the DLCs could have and should have been longer to make them more worth while. I can't wait for the 2nd one.
