Fantastic in-game, but frustrating otherwise...
The gameplay itself (when you're actually boxing) is amazing! However, there are issues with delayed inputs. You can input a command accidentally and it'll happen about 3 seconds afterward. Kind of annoying when you're trying to do the heavy bag push training game and you switch to body shots, only to have about 4 more high punches go off and THEN switch to body shots.
Aside from that, champion mode is dismal after about halfway (the bare-knuckle boxing was a HUGE disappointment, since they just call the fights before it gets nice and bloody). The special matches you get (defending a cut on your face, can't use your right hand, etc.) are just obnoxious!
Legacy mode just frustrated me beyond words. Your stats decrease between each fight to the point where you're struggling just to get close to where you were for your last fight. They'll also throw curve balls at you, like giving you only two weeks to train, rather than four, so your stats just drop through the floor after that.

great
champion mode was great ! but it was very short, but overall good game, and amazing damage system.

Awesome
Fightnight has a great story line and the graphics are just amazing. This is the best fight night game that I ever have played. A friend of mine has it and the first night he had it a friend of his thought he was watch real boxing on tv. I would give this game a 9 or 10.

More better & Improved.
Fight Night Champion has impressed me so far. The controls with the analog stick and the buttons for punching is easy to get used to or you can change the controls to your type of setting. The graphics in this game is amazing, when you or your opponent is really hurt it really shows how badly it is when you are in your corner fixing yourself up after a round, like the cuts, blood, swelling, and the bruises. So far the interesting part of the game is the champion mode, the story of a boxer Andre Bishop is interesting but I'll stop myself from spoiling the game. The roster in Fight Night Champion is somewhat well balanced but in my opinion they should of have added more fighters but overall its okay. The one thing that was weird was the game did not came with a manual. I would recommend this game to anyone.
