LONG TIME HALO FAN
As a Halo fan for 10 years. This game really was appealing! It used the Halo Reach engine. Yet in the campaign the graphics were far more superior! For multiplayer, Those who played Halo Reach multiplayer you will find that Halo Anniversary is far MORE INTENSE! You need your BEST DMR SKILLS! I found myself always admiring the amazing view. I have noticed 343 is very detailing when making a map. Especially in there Defiant map pack in Halo Reach. This game has its downs though. I found that the facial texture was not the best. It was SO bright and vivid it wrecked many visials on objects especially people. But at the end of the day it was a great game. 7 amazing maps. Also is one beautiful game, especially for 40 BUCKS! =D

good remake
it is a fun game and the game play is smooth it was a nice touch being able to flip back and forth from original and new graphics. seeing the old graphics again brings back memories but i thought they should of had a larger selection of game modes and maps also start of with more firefight maps!!!!!!! overall it is a good game and i recommend it

Codes Didn't Work
Game was great but the map pack,avatar armour, and skull didn't work and that they should fix this problem

Awesome Remake
The gameplay is terrific and it also offers a Halo Reach multiplayer. The graphics can be HD, 3D or look like they used to back in 2001. The graphic remake is incredible and the 3D blows me away. The game also has a Guiness World record gamers edition record for 14th best video game ending and for one of most acclaimed First person shooter! I would highley recommend you buy this or you will be in the gamers edition for dumbest person if you dont buy it!

Could have been a lot better.
I still say Halo 2 was the best of the series. I never played Halo CE so I decided to pick this up and check out how it all began. I was so bored I just stopped playing it. I guess it was a good game to start the series off but compared to whats already been out, this game is just boring. The multiplayer is just Halo Reach, and it's just a couple of the new maps, I think some of the armor is missing too. You get 1 firefight map. This game wasn't worth it.

Great Remake
This was an amazing remake of the classic Halo Combat Evolved but the only thing that bugged me about it was that 343 industeries had used a older graphics engine rather than a newer one or the one used for Reach. But overall it's great

Awesome but could have been better
Only two things could have made this release more awesome than it already is; One is a release for the PC because the original doesn't work so well on Windows Vista/7 (also graphics are a lot better than they were ten years ago). Two; a version of Halo 2 to go along with it as Halo 2 is now the only game in the Halo franchise that doesn't have a 360 version. (Yes the Xbox 360 can emulate original Xbox games but we all know that native 360 compatibility is better than the emulation).

Reliving the Old Days
This game is great! Firstly, the campaign is just as it was 10 years ago, gamestyle, delayed jumping and all. I had forgotten how hard this game was! This is what games were meant to be like, not too easy, but barely beatable on Legendary. The graphics are very detailed and you are able to switch in between the old and new graphics to see just how much it has changed. The new music is also very good and fits in perfectly! Just like the graphics, you are able to switch between new and old score. The new sounds for the guns are pretty sweet too. And with the addition of skulls and terminals, it makes it just a little bit more interesting so that you get to go explore the new world. The skulls can make it easier, harder or more fun to play. The terminals are a neat sidenote to the game, and give a neat view into 343 Guilty Spark's life and what may be to come. Now, on to the multiplayer. I LOVE the maps that are included in the multiplayer! It plays on the Reach engine, so people may not be too thrilled about that. The best part about the new multiplayer, is the Anniversary playlist, with the 3-shot-pistol, NO abilities, quicker movement, and higher jumping. It makes it feel a lot more like Halo, than Reach ever did. I just wish that the multiplayer came with more classic maps. But for $40, this is a good buy!

Awesome
When I got the game on November 15 I was blown away with how amazing the Graphics and Gameplay was. It did bring back good memories and was an awesome experience for me.
