Great game
Saint row the third is not a perfect game it's just fun game you could do whatever you want. This game doesn't take it serious.there is a co-op that's fun and tons of side mission it's over 30 hours of fun

Good improvements but.....
Saints row:the third is a fun games its just very silly and crazy but at times it seems like they try to hard to be funny and it gets annoying. This game is very different from saints row 1 and 2 because the storyline is nonsense and its very random. To fans of the series like myself, its very dissapointing and apart from shaundi pierce and gat no one from the past games is present and the gangs are just a joke.I didn't like this as much as SR1 or 2 but it is a good time killer. Also they removed a bunch of activities collectibles and races but horde mode is pretty fun.But in conclusion i think they shouldn't have put this in the saints row series and i hope saints row 4 will have a good storyline and more activities because completely finishing this game took me about 25 hours while saints row 1 took me about 40 hours and Saints row 2 took me about 45-50.

This game is entertaining, fun and funny.
I was just kidding about kid gamers. THIS GAME IS PERFECT FOR: Hardcore gamers. I love the free roam. The graphics are AMAZING. The game is not realistic at all so if your looking for realistic get GTA. This game is meant for fun and funNY not realistic.

Perfect, Hilarious, Fun.
This game made it into my list of all time favorite games. It was colorful, smart, creative, and always had me guessing whats next? It was never totally over the top or offensive. Just pure fun and entertainment which left me playing well after I beat it the first time.

Simply one of the funnest games this year
With a handful of new activities, vehicles, and weapons, this game does not feel like a simple re-hash of the previous SR games, and although it may seem like a cheap GTA knock-off, after a short while of actually playing the game you can see they have taken it in completely the opposite direction of Rockstar's hit franchise. It's not a single bit realistic, and it's 100% silly. Isn't that really what we want in a game?
There are a few things I feel they improved upon the second on. The graphics. It's a lot cleaner and nicer looking while managing to be even more cartooney than the second. I thought this was done perfectly. The customization is vastly improved, with a few hilarious new options, such as "s*x appeal" and the zombie voice setting. Achievements are a lot more manageable, as there's no co-op achievements and much less collectibles, which aren't as difficult to find as the previous two games. This game is easy to pick up and get into, and is very addicting, but is surprisingly manageable, unlike Skyrim, which will leave you playing until your brains fry. Also, Genki's activity is fun, and obviously the main selling point is the humor (eg. Flashbangs upgrading to "F*rt In a Jar") which is successful. Wh*red mode is also fun, but it's a shame you can't use your actual character in it.
However, I do have a few complaints. Although the world in this game is a lot more compact and simpler than the second game, I prefer the second. The large map allowed for more exploration and the island in that one was cool. Also, they took out all vehicular diversions, which I personally would have found fun. Assassination missions are still annoying and tedious, and sometimes cryptic, and other activities are often doubled, but being completely different activities (eg. Trailblazer, Trailblazer. Escort, Escort., etc.). Although the upgrade system is cool, it allows for your character to become a tank and steamroll the entire game without any difficulty. It's pretty much too easy. Some of the upgrades shouldn't even exist, like the one to take over a neighbourhood by paying money. There is also the fact that almost every mission makes you make a choice between one thing or the other. You cannot get everything in the game within one playthrough. I can see this adds replayability, but I would have preferred a longer, more epic story rather than a short one with a choice at each mission.
Regardless, I still consider this the funnest of the series. Hopefully SR4 will be even better. There'll be things I missed covering, but that can be up to you to find out.

Can't wait!
I pre ordered this game a really long time ago, it looks so amazing. I've heard extremely good things about this game for people who have played the demo, I personally didn't but I am a huge fan of SR and SR2. I personally liked Saints Row 2 more than GTA4 because of its all out craziness and lack of realism. I thought it was an absolutely hillarious game. Also, I am not saying GTA4 is bad it is actually amazing but I just had more fun with Saints Row 2 and I KNOW Saints Row the Third is going to be way up there, I can't wait to get my copy. :)

An unrealistic amount of fun
I had a chance to play this today at Microsoft X'11 and I've got to say, I was absolutely blown away by this game.
I came into this game with no expectations and I was totally blown away by the ludicrous amount of stuff for you to do.
I'm actually surprised how much fun the pre order stuff is especially the genki car and the octopus gun.
Seriously, check this game out.
