Q: Who is eligible to participate in the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale events?

A: We have a very limited number of PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection merchandise available for sale. As a result, we will be extending an invitation to our private sale event to a small group of EDGE Platinum/Onyx members.



Q: I received an invitation to purchase specific PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection merchandise, but a product I wanted to purchase is not included in my private sale invitation. Why is this?  

A: We have received very limited quantities of PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection merchandise. In an effort to distribute these products fairly, we have divided available inventory across multiple private sale events.


Q: How many items can I buy if I am invited to participate in the private sale?

A: Selected participants will be permitted to purchase a maximum of one (1) unit of the product(s) they're eligible to purchase.


Q: If I receive an invitation, can I share it with my friends or family?

A: Because quantities of PlayStation™ 30th anniversary collection are limited, to ensure fairness in terms of our most active Platinum/Onyx members, we do not allow invitations to be shared or transferred. Any order request received from an individual other than the one who has been invited will be refused and, if an order is accepted but it is later discovered that the purchaser is not the individual who has been invited, the order will be cancelled.


Q: What happens if I share the instructions and information with someone and they place an order?

Q: Can I purchase a GameStop Protection Plan for an item I purchase in the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale event?

A: Unfortunately, GameStop Protection plans will not be available for purchase in regard to the purchase of these products. Each product will have manufacturer warranty information included.


Q: Can I choose to have the items I purchase in the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale event delivered to my local GameStop Canada store?

A: Regrettably, no.  All private sale purchases will be shipped to a delivery address provided during the checkout process. You cannot provide a store address. Please also note that once your order is submitted, your delivery address cannot be changed or modified, so please carefully review your details before submitting your order.


Q: Will bots or product resellers have an opportunity to purchase during the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale event?

A: No. Orders that are placed by bots or resellers will be rejected and any orders that are initially accepted by GameStop Canada may be cancelled.


Q: I have declined or unsubscribed from GameStop Canada emails. Will I still receive an invite to participate in the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale event if I am eligible?

A: You will not, unfortunately. Anyone who has declined or unsubscribed from EDGE program emails will not be invited to participate in the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale event. 


Q: Can I return or exchange a product I purchase through the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale event?

A: Any sale of items purchased through the PlayStation™ 30th Anniversary Collection Private Sale is final, and is not eligible for return, exchange or a refund through GameStop Canada. Each product will have manufacturer warranty information included.


Q: What happens if I share my private sale invite information with someone, and they place an order?

A: Their order will be cancelled. Sharing this information will impact the time required manual review and acceptance of eligible orders. We strongly discourage you from doing so.

Pre-ordering products for in-store pickup is fast and easy. First, ensure you’re logged in on gamestop.ca, and simply add eligible pre-orders to your shopping cart using the "Add to Cart" button. In your shopping cart, click on the "Pre-order online & pickup in-store" button to continue. A $5 deposit is required to ensure your product is reserved for you in-store. Please be aware that regular in-stock merchandise are not eligible for pickup in-store.

You’ll need to select an GameStop store where you’ll pickup your order. You can do this by using the map feature at the checkout and searching by city, store address, or postal code. Once your order is placed, you cannot change your selected store. You will receive an order confirmation by email and a call from the store once your product arrives. At that time, you’ll be required to pay the balance of your order at the store.

If you would like to cancel your pre-order, please visit the store that you directed the order to. An associate will be more than glad to assist you with the refund.

Please note that your order details will not be visible to the associates at your pick-up location immediately. Details will be sent within 24 hours of placing your order.

Please note: This is a digital product. The product will be delivered in the form of a redeemable code which will be viewable on the "My Order" page.


All orders for Digital products are manually checked by our team prior to approval. If your order is placed outside of normal office hours (Monday to Friday), this may delay processing of your order.


Please note: Digital products are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once the order has been processed.


Digital products purchased from this website will work on Canadian accounts only!
